A short drive from Yeppoon and Rockhampton Red Rock, Byfield State Forest, is a pet friendly grassed area set among pine plantation. Whether you have a
tent, small caravan or a camper tailer Red Rock is a great palce to get back to nature and at night sit under the stars and roast marshmallows while
sitting around the fire.
Wheelchair-accessible camp sites are available closest to the toilets.
Dogs are only permitted at Red Rock camping area and must be on a leash at all times.
Discovery Park Coolwaters
With views over the beautiful Keppel Islands with the beach conveniently located across the road. Powered and unpowered sites are available. Kids will
be entertained hours playing in the water park, taking a dip in the pool or jumping on the bouncing pillow

Poinciana Tourist Park
The park offers all you need to enjoy a perfect coastal getaway. Set on six beautiful tropical acres with a shaded saltwater pool, large barbecue area,
modern and well-maintained amenities, a laundry and camp kitchen. A short stroll from the park is Cooee Bay beach, where off leash times are before
8am and after 4pm daily. Conditions apply, best to talk to the staff upon when booking.
Causeway Caravan Park
Right on the banks of Causeway Lake you can get a line wet, have a refreshing dip or go for a stroll on the beach. T here’s also a boat ramp if you’re
bringing your own tinny. Pets welcome upon request.
Fisherman’s Beach Holiday Park
With ocean views Conveniently located, you can stroll to nearby cafes, the supermarket, heated public pool, kids playground, boat ramp, parks and more.
Dogs are allowed only in low season, with limited availability. Please contact the park in advance for approval.
You don’t get any closer to the waterfront than staying here. Surrounded by beautifully maintained tropical gardens & lush palms, the garden path even
leads you right to the sand with views over to the islands. Emu Park is only a short 5-minute drive away. They even have a kennel available for your
dog, best to bring their bed as no dogs are allowed on the furniture.
Discovery Park Rockhampton
With so much fun for the whole family, the parks convenient location is a great place to stay. Choose from powered camping sites and various cabins. The
kids will be entertained for hours having fun bouncing on the giant pillow, taking a dip in the pool or having a hit of tennis. Dogs are allowed when
caravaning only, you’ll need to confirm with the park beforehand. No pets allowed in cabins.
Riverside Tourist Park
Five acres right on the banks of the Fitzroy Riveand a short walk to Rockhampton City Centre. Dogs are allowed with approval, please contact the park in
advance prior to coming.
Blue Gem Tourist Park
Located at Sapphire, this Park is pet friendly and is surrounded by lush gardens. Dogs must be kept on a leash and walked outside the park. Prior approval
is required when staying here with your pooch. Have a go at fossicking for yourself either in the park or in the creek, you never know you may find
