Nob Creek Pottery is set in the rainforest of Byfield and is a studio pottery producing fine work in the traditional style. It is a family business, run by Steve
Bishopric a professional potter for over 25 years and Sue McBurnie, an art teacher and potter. Visitors can meet the artists, see the workshop and enjoy
one of the largest displays of Australian and South East Asian craft work in the country. The gallery features the nationally acclaimed work of Steve and other resident potters, along with 40 exhibitors from throughout Australia and South East Asia. Fine examples of pottery, hand blown glass, jewellery, woodwork, sculpture, lacquer ware, paintings and other craft ensures there is something for everyone. Visitors can learn about the processes involved in pottery production, walk through the tropical grounds and exotic fruit orchard, swim in the rockpool and picnic in the grounds. Nob Creek Pottery offers you the opportunity to see something different and visit this unique and beautiful part of Capricornia.
