Jazz on Quay 4 September 
Jazz on Quay will see Rockhampton’s city
centre come alive to the sweet soothing sounds of jazz whilst listeners
indulge in the delectable cuisines and fine wines in an evening of
music, passion and pleasure.
The 2010 Jazz on Quay is Rockhampton’s reinvigorated,
refreshed and newly relocated premiere jazz festival (previously Big
River Jazz) and is set to stimulate the senses of Central Queensland
with performances from highly acclaimed musicians Viv Middleton, Irene
Bartlett and Shane Hannan, as well as the very talented CQ University
Jazz Orchestra.
The Village Festival 15-17 September

The Village Festival is the Capricorn Coast's major music and arts
celebration staged annually by the Keppel Coast Arts Council since 2003.
The Festival is a kaleidoscope of contemporary culture with something
for everyone featuring music, performing arts, visual arts, cultural
arts, children's activities, street theatre, workshops, food, stalls and
onsite camping.
Yeppoon Lions Club Tropical Pinefest 9-10 October 
Including events such as the Grand Street Parade, beach activities and
fireworks display, Pinefest draws spectators from throughout the region, and provides a weekend of family fun!
This coastal event provides a focus for the region and allows for the
opportunity for the community and local business, in partnership with
Lions to promote the area, contribute to the local economy and raise
funds for Lions charities. All profit goes to Lions charities.
Rocky Barra Bounty 15-16 October 
Rocky Barra Bounty celebrates its 12th year in 2010, and promises to be bigger and better than ever!
Offering a weekend of competitive barramundi fishing along the banks of Rockhampton's picturesque Fitzroy River, this event draws fishing enthusiasts from around the region and state-wild.
Land a big one at this two-day, five star fishing event.
CRCA Bullzeye Rodeo Finals Spectacular 12-13 November

The CRCA Finals are held in November annually at the spectacular
Gracemere Austadium near Rockhampton. The event encompasses the bravado
and dynamic action that only
the best of the best can deliver as they race for the honoured title of
All-round Cowboy or Cowgirl.
The event offers a combination of rodeo and an
excellent line up of music artists. During three rounds spread over two
days the top 12 competitors in each event ride off for the highly sought
after prizes and the end of year title.
