What is MHFA?

Approximately 20% of Australian adults experience a common mental illness each year. Completing an MHFA Course will help you to develop the skills to support a friend, family member or co-worker.

Having mental health first aid skills means that you can assist someone developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis and make a real difference to your community

We will cover conditions such as

Depression, Anxiety, Psychosis and Substance Use Disorder

and crisis situations such as

Suicide, Non suicidal self injury, traumatic event and panic attacks

Learn to identify and help..... bet you know how to stop a bleed or how to do CPR... more likely you will use this skill before that one (both are very important skills)

Check out the website for more specific course information
