The annual Marlborough Agricultural Show is organised by a committee that is made up entirely of volunteers, including residents and business owners from the local area. This volunteerism has enabled the Show to prosper to what it is today. Their volunteers work in all sections of the show from cake making to arts and craft.
The ring still remains a focus point as it did 33 years ago, with the number of horse and cattle events remaining strong. The show continues with its traditional theme and events with strong community support, school participation, and a growing attendance each year.
Whilst they appreciate their agricultural heritage, the committee recognises the need to continually ensure that the event is relevant for today’s show goers and has successfully made the transformation to a modern show full of agricultural, community and entertainment features.
The committee is excited to present this year’s 33rd Annual Show in April 2018. All your favourites will be back - stalls, kids entertainment, dog jumping and time trials.
