Stacey Holt from Real Estate Excellence will deliver this practical three-part session focusing on key areas of operational property management; routine inspection and maintenance. Drug lab awareness and what to do will also be included.


Focus on compliance, best practice, procedures and risk management – the education event includes the following;


ü Maintenance – routine and emergency including law, risk management and procedures


ü Appointing Contractors – vital risk management and procedure matters


ü Rights of entry and what to do if the tenant does not allow entry under ‘rules of entry’

There is no such thing as "a break lease" training (Queensland legislation)


Session overview and outline; 


This interactive intensive lecture style workshop presented by Stacey Holt, will focus on the law and best practice when tenants end the agreement early which can be done lawfully. Tenants who end the agreement early are breaching the agreement by ending it early, as opposed to breaking the lease. 


This study will provide tips on educating lessors, procedures and what should be done in these situations. 


The session will include a workbook (link provided to print by attendee or bring to event on smart device) chapter 14 of the Property Management Excellence (PME) manual.
