Back by popular demand, and now in its fourth year, the Yeppoon Triathlon Festival (YTF) is a weekend full of great opportunities for competitors, families and the community to celebrate all things sport and everything that the Capricorn Coast has to offer. The festival is set to be a big weekend with triathlon events for all ages.
Whether you’re a local or an out-of-towner returning to the YTF to beat your goal time, an elite athlete ready to leave it all in the ocean (and on the track), or a first timer eager to dip your toes in, this year’s event will be a fun beast to conquer.
The festival will kick off with 'Super Saturday', a day focused on fun for the kids with junior coaching clinics and races - all about giving it a go and having fun.
Sunday is when the timed challenges begin with the triathlon distance races, including the Kraken 102, an individual Sprint distance triathlon and the Enticer.
The YTF isn’t just a chance to race (or watch others race), it’s a true festival with entertainment for all ages, food and coffee vans, music, face painting, a stage with kids’ entertainment and more.
